PENNACCHIO, Guiseppe

Passed peacefully on Thursday, October 25, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 78. Loving husband to Marietta for 52 years. Cherished father to Frank, Joanne (Gino) and Joe. Proud Nonno to Erica, Kiana, Chanele, Dahlia and Joseph. Guiseppe is survived by his sister Corina (Michael), sister-in-law Maria, brothers-in-law Alex and Frank (Donnina) Iuni. Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Giovanna, brother Angelo and sister Antoinetta Di Leo.

After immigrating to Canada with his Wife Marietta in 1967, Guiseppe worked at Port Weller Dry Docks as a Lead Hand Labourer, retiring after 35 years of work. In his retirement you could find him either gardening, painting, making wine or just spending time with his family and friends.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Hospice Niagara for all their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St, Catharines on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers being held at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 29, 2018 at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines at 11 a.m. with Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., St. Catharines. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara or Colorectal Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
