Obituary of Paulette Makse
MAKSE, Paulette (née Lavigne)
Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on November 8, 2018 in her 78th year. Predeceased by her husband Lee (2011) and brother Raymond. Paulette will be sadly missed by her sons Brian (Lorie) and Keith (Patti). Cherished grandmother to Devon, Nathan, and Daniel. Special and devoted sister of Adèle (John) Kanters.
Paulette had a rewarding and successful teaching career, and her last years spent as a Jr. Kindergarten teacher at St. Anthony’s School. Her retirement years were spent travelling with her family and she was always excited to be in the heat of the Florida sun. Paulette was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and she enjoyed giving back to the community through St. Vincent de Paul.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday November 11, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Monday November 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
