Obituary of Maria D'Eramo

                                                                        Maria “Nonna” D’Eramo   

                                                           September 9, 1922 - November 14, 2018

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria D’Eramo at the age of 96 on Wednesday November 14, 2018. Maria has joined her husband, Concezio and her son, Peter as guardian angels of the family. Maria was an extraordinary matriarch of her family, now 5 generations. Loving Mother to Joseph (Juanita) D’Eramo, Pasqualina (Giulio) D’Intino.  Nonna held a special place in the hearts of Remo, Roberto, Sandra, Joanna and Joey. Nonna will be missed by her 11 grandchildren , 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by 12 siblings. Nonna: Our Super Woman, Our Mentor, Creator of our foundation that will carry  her legacy in our hearts and souls forever. Maria is resting at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St.Catharines with visitation on Thursday, November 15, 2018. 2-4 and 7-9. Vigil prayers at 3:00 pm. Funeral and mass will take place at St. Alfred’s Church  272 Vine St. St.Catharines on Friday November 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated by the family.
