My mother, Ida LIgata, and I are saddened to read that Elaine passed away. My Mom plans to send a card, but I wanted to share a few thoughts also. Our Moms worked together at City Hall for several years and enjoyed many outings and lunches together with the other team members. I had the chance to visit Elaine and Mike's lovely garden one fine summer. And just last year in Collingwood, I met a couple who, upon hearing I live in St. Catharines, recalled spending time with your parents. My mother has spoken often of Elaine as a good friend over the years and is sorry they lost touch in the last few. All the best to your family in this time of sadness.
