KOSHTY, Joseph

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of 69 years to Ionica. Loving father of John (Ingrid), Ed, Ron (Cindy) and Paul. Cherished grandpa to Trina and Kristin. Great-grandfather of Olivia, Levi, Cohen, Lia, and Anna. Joseph served in World War II from 1943-1945 in the Anti-Tank Artillery Allied Forces. He worked as a mechanic and retired from Niagara Structural Steel. Joseph was a longtime parishioner and volunteer at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Heidehof for their care and compassion for both Joseph and Ionica over the years. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, December 24 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. A funeral service for Joseph will follow in the funeral home ceremony room at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
