Obituary of Anna Biro

BIRO, Anna - Passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 10th, 2019  in her 97th year at Linhaven Home for the Aged. Beloved wife of the late Adam. Cherished mother of Mary (Ivica) Mrezar, John (Pat) Biro, Elizabeth (Marijan) Ruzic, Vera (the late Tony ) Petrina and Bernadette ( Marcello) Pontello. Loving Oma of 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Sister of Teresia Beck. A sincere thank you to Anna's nephew George ( Linda) Nikolaus and Jerome (Guitana) Pascal, as well as the Linhaven Angels; Alice, Marta, Ella and Teresa  for all of their care and compassion. A special thanks to Dr. Kobylecky for all of her care of Anna. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Monday, January 14th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place at 8p.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St  Catharines on Tuesday, January 15th at 11a.m. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
