MAILLOUX, Israel “Issy”
Passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 surrounded by his family at Hotel Dieu Shaver at the age of 93. Beloved husband and best friend of Agnes for 68 years. Cherished Dad to David (the late Charlene) and Dennis and his wife Lise. Loving Pépé to Kevin and Curtis. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Gerry (the late Jannette), Del (Frank) and Ted (Jackie), many nieces, nephews and many other extended family and friends.
He is an honorary life 3rd degree members of Knights of Columbus Council #1394 and of the Holy Name Society of St. Catharines. Issy was very family oriented and spent as much time with them as he could. He was a devoted volunteer at Hotel Dieu Shaver for many years.
The family would like to thank the Staff and Sister Louise at Shaver for all their care and compassion. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. with Vigil Prayers being held at 3p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11a.m. Cremation will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his cherished second home and family; Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre.
