So many wonderful memories of Auntie Margaret. Since I was born in 1975, I only every knew my Auntie Margaret and Uncle Bernie through 'visits', yet their presence was such a big feature of my childhood - in fact my whole life! For countless years, we'd all be really excited when we knew Auntie Margaret and Uncle Bernie were coming over. There were day trips (Auntie Margaret's glee at visiting Coronation Street sticks in my mind!), meals out, family get-togethers and so much love and laughter to enjoy. It is wonderful to remember all the times that Mum and Dad counted down to your visits or to their visits over to Canada. I remember her special little 'book', full of not only important phone numbers and addresses but also all kinds of measurements and sizes to make sure that all of the correct things were bought to take back to everybody in Canada. British chocolate and teabags and all kinds of things packed so tightly into the suitcases! She'd always remember to bring things here too - many times she'd present me with countless packets of Canadian 'Stove top' as she knew I loved it. What a loving and generous woman she was. When I was a teenager and visited Canada with my school choir, she and Uncle Bernie were there to greet us when we landed with a 'Welcome' sign! Wow - how special did I feel that day?! And I will never forget opening the door to see Uncle Bernie and Auntie Margaret's grief stricken faces when they came over after Dad died. You are already so much missed, Auntie Margaret. My heart goes out to Uncle Bernie and all of my cousins and extended family. May you Rest in Peace, Dear Auntie Margaret xx

Goodbye to my wonderful sister-in-law, Margaret. She was one of the most loving, caring and generous people I have ever known. We had so many wonderful times time together and there are so many memories. On holidays, when Frank was alive, and over so many years when I visited them in Canada and when they came here to stay with me. My heart goes out to my brother Bernie and all the family for their great loss. RIP Margaret. All my love, Moira xx

My lovely Aunty Margaret - you will be sadly missed by so many people - especially all of your relatives in the UK. I fondly remember you and my mum fighting to get to the cash till first when paying for anything so that the other couldn’t pay. Both of you wanting to pay for each other. It still makes me chuckle. We love you and miss you. Rest in peace xxx

My late husband, Barry and I had many fond memories of Aunt Margaret back in the day not long after they immigrated to Canada. I remember we called them to our house in Burlington to babysit our daughter, Julie very early in the morning so I could go have my second daughter, Christine, who is Aunt Margaret’s and uncle Bernie’s goddaughter. I was worried about calling so early, but they both came to save the day! Margaret was so emphatetic and helped me out a lot. Very good memory.
Rest In Peace Margaret. You will be remembered always. Deep condolences to Bernie and family.
