Obituary of Pauline Halowski
HALOWSKI, Pauline (nee Stadnyk) - Passed away on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at Chartwell Niagara at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Lawrence (2013). Devoted and loving mother of Laurie (Glisho) and Michael (Sherry). Proud grandmother to James and Jason. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Alice, brothers Mike, John, Peter, Harry and Ray, her sisters Anne, Francis, Marion and Sally. Survived by sisters Elsie (Joe) and Sister Yvonne, brothers Steve (Lil) and Irwin (Barb), sister-in-law Helen and brother-in-laws Julian and Don. Also survived on Lawrence's side by brother-in-laws Bill (Anne), Steve (Jean) and sister-in-law, Helen. Lovingly remembered by many, many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the 3rd Floor Staff at Chartwell Niagara for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNEAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 20th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Panachyda will take place at 7:30p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 21st at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Road, St. Catharines at 10a.m. Burial at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls to follow. Memorial donations to St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
