We are sad to announce our father died peacefully following a brief illness and surrounded by his family on March 15th 2019 at Hospice Niagara.  He lived a full and long life and had a distinguished career as a urologist for over 30 years. He is survived by his four children Margaret (Denis Cormier), Eilish, Kelly, and Michael, and his brother Desmond (Moyra) Donnelly. Additional family members include his 3 grand-children Eilish, Declan, and Tiernan, 2 great-grandsons (Ryan, Morgan), and 1 great-great granddaughter (Sophia), as well as many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  He is pre-deceased by his parents Michael & Margaret Donnelly (of Motherwell, Scotland), siblings Jim, Gerry, Hugh, Marie, Gilbert, Margaret, and Father Brian.

Special thanks are extended to his niece Marie Terese, his care giver and friend Mandy, PSW’s Brittany and John, Dr. B. Kerley, and Dr. B. Leung, CCAC, and all the exceptional staff at Hospice Niagara.

The family will receive guests at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St Catharines, on Tuesday March 19th from 6-8pm, with Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. A funeral mass will be held at Cathedral of St Catherine of Alexandria 3 Lyman St, St Catharines, on Wednesday March 20th at 10.30am with cremation to follow.  If so desired donations to World Vision or the Kidney foundation would be appreciated
