Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 25, 2019 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Raffaele (2002). Loving and cherished mother of Alex (Erika), Christine (Steve) Felice and Gerarda (Sergio) Morrone. Very proud Nonna to Mark (Claudia), Paul (Jennifer), Karen (Steve) Ferrelli, Anthony (Stacey) Felice, Stephanie (Chris) Murphy, Andrew (Katie) Felice, Marisa Morrone and Michael Morrone. Much loved great-grandmother of Matthew, Nathan, Dante, Luca, Melia, Dominic, Marco, August, Avayah, Aryella, Caden, Adelyn, Blake and Abigail. Antonia will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Vincenzo and Rosa; her mother-in-law Maria Cristina (Alessandro); her siblings Donato (Matilda), Catarina, Elisa (Nicola), Francesca (Luigi) and Elena (Antonio); sisters-in-law Pasqualina (Pasquale) and Alessandra (Salvatore).
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional care team at Heidehof, whom she loved as an extension of her family. Special thanks to the staff at 2A at NHS-St. Catharines for their care and compassion.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, March 28 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Friday, March 29 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
