Long awaiting the reunion with her loved ones, Sophie Tucker passed away, Saturday April 13, 2019 in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (2003). Loving Mom to Joan (Louis), Jerry (Sandra) and the late David (Elaine). Also missing Bobby are her 11 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren, her loving siblings Olga, Nellie, Tony and sisters in law Jan and Betty. She is predeceased by her siblings Jack, Bill, Joe, Walter, Alec and Mike. The family would like to thank the staff in the Lancaster Park Unit at Henley House for all their love compassion and support. A special thank you to her caregiver and dear friend Leslie. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 10-11:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow visitation at 11:30 a.m. in the ceremony room. A private Burial will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
