Obituary of Olive Turnbull

Turnbull, Olive.

Olive passed away peacefully at 93 with family by her side.  Predeceased by her husband Alfred Turnbull, she will be dearly missed by her "boys", Alan (Pam), Paul (Kari), Keith (Heather), and her nieces and nephews, Margaret (Robin) and Jackie (Val).  Nani will forever be in the hearts of her grandkids Katie, Scott, Haley, Austin, Brittney and Brigitte. A beautiful woman inside and out, Olive was a fashionista right to the end, and she put us all to shame with her sense of style and her gentle soul. In her honour we will all be wearing our best at a celebration of Olive's life at George Darte Funeral home, 585 Carlton St, St Catharines, on Friday, April 26th from 11am-1pm.  

Olive's family are grateful for and would like to extend thanks to the staff at The Heatherwood and her support workers for the love and care they lavished on Olive these past 10 years. Special thanks as well to Niagara's palliative care team. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated.
