Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the age of 85. Cherished and loving wife of the late Mike (2014). Loving mother to Paul, Susan (Kenny) Nash and Julie (Leonard) Aylward. Much loved Nana of Brent (Jaclyn) Nash and Jack and Ben Aylward. Great-grandmother to Natalie Nash. Dear sister of Lynn (Barry) Holland and John Bartlett. Joyce was a Tupperware distributor for Paradise Sales in the Niagara Region for over 30 years. She was a tireless volunteer for the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, where she organized and coordinated monthly family support group meetings and fundraisers. In December, Joyce was the recipient of a volunteer recognition award from the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario for her 30 years of service. Joyce's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, on Wednesday, May 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral to celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, 80 Main Street, St. Catharines. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Main St., St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
