Obituary of Mate Kutlesa

January 16, 1935 - June 14, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather at the age of 84. Mate is survived by his wife Elizabeth of 39 years, his son Tom Kutlesa, daughter Anita (Imad) Salameh and his grandchildren Vincent, Raymond and Bridget. Mate will forever be remembered by his siblings Ivan, Nedjelko (Slovenia) and Anna (Croatia). The Kutlesa Family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, June  18th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 18th at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, 316 Queenston St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, June 19th at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
