Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Linhaven in his 89th year. He will be dearly missed by his sister Helen, niece Donna (Kevin) and nephew Edward (Eva). He will also be dearly missed by his great nieces and nephews Jason, Matthew, Kristyn, Gregory and Emily. Thank you to the Staff at Linhaven for all their care and compassion over the years. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 with Vigil Prayers being held at 7 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5 Oblate St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow Mass at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., St. Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Walker Family Cancer Centre
