LINDSAY, Joyce (nee Smith)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Robert. Loving mother of Nancy and George (Jane). Cherished nana to Ian (Lesley), Matthew (Nancy), Robert (Ally), the late Wesley, and Shannon (Alex). Great-grandmother of Robert, Lindsay, George, Aldina, Wesley and Eden. Dear sister of Dorothy (the late Gordon) and the late William (the late Marilyn). Joyce worked at Eaton's for over 40 years, starting in Toronto and eventually working at the St. Catharines store. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Hu and the staff at Meadows of Dorchester for their years of care and compassion. In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, August 22 from 6-8 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
