Louisa passed away peacefully in her 94th year on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Alfredo (1978). Caring Mother to Jerry (Maureen), Lois (Sam) Sarkisian and Joanne (Larry) Becke. Nonna of 11 and Bis-Nonna of 4. Louisa had a love for cooking whether it was for her family, at Club Roma or volunteering at the Ozanam Centre. Up until last October, she devoted many years volunteering at the St. Vincent de Paul Society Store in St. Catharines. She enjoyed spending time in Montebello Park appreciating its beauty. A very special thank you to everyone at Mount Carmel Retirement Home, especially the Carmelite Sisters, the Doctor, Nurses and Staff for all their care and compassion over the many years, especially the last month. In accordance with Louisa’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private family service will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, (905) 937-4444. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Carmelite Sisters in Louisa’s honour.
