Obituary of Helen Carr
Carr, Helen
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25th, 2019 at the age of 85. Predeceased by John Carr, her beloved husband of 60 years (2015). Loving mother of Elaine Carr (Mary Margaret), John Carr (Julie), Alison Carr-Kohut (Ron) and Maureen Carr-Gabriele (Dan). Cherished Grandma of the late Johnny (1985), Shelbie (Ron), Kevin, Marianne (Phil), Stephen, Dani, Elise, Olivia, Pamela, Matt (Alana) and Derek (Vanessa). Great Grandma to Carter, Chase, Cohen, Emmett and Avery. Sister-in law to Helen McGinty, Jim Carr and Daniel Haughian. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Vera Clay.
Spending time with family and friends was the most important thing in Helen’s life. Line dancing with her friends was her favourite activity. She was very involved in the Scottish Club. Helen loved looking about the shops with her daughters. She was interested in sewing, knitting and reading. Many noted her sense of design and fashion.
