Obituary of Edna Hargreave
HARGREAVE, Edna - Passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Art Hargreave (2008). Cherished mother of Meassa ( the late Terry) O'Connor. Loving Grandma of Matt (Jessica) O'Connor, Kelly O'Connor, Shannon (Shane) Finn and Maggie (Matthew Perri). Great Grandma of Caeden, Abigail and Jackson. She will be sadly missed by her best friend Mads Sutherland. Edna was an avid Bridge Player, who also loved Lawn Bowling and her annual holiday to Sauble Beach with Mads. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, August 29th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Thursday at 8p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St Catharines on Friday, August 30th at 11:30a.m. Entombment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill to follow. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
