CIGANA, Irene
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Irene on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Garden City Manor in her 95th year. Beloved sister to the late Ida (the late Guido) Sanipelli, Ileana (the late Guido) Castellan, Irma (Adriano) Fucili, Iole (the late Victor) Tommasini, the late Guiseppe (Maria) Cigana. She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by her parents Matteo and Antonietta. A special thank you to all the Staff at Garden City Manor and Dr. Khandelwal for their patience, hard work and kindness towards Irene. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service will follow visitation in the funeral home at 11 a.m. with a Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Garden City Manor- Residence Council.
