Obituary of Frances Ann Novak

NOVAK, Frances Ann (nee Muratori)

October 15, 1940 - September 9, 2019

Frances passed away peacefully with family by her side. Loving wife of 54 years to Frank. Mother of John (Paula) and Dean (Maria). Cherished Nonna to Gabriella, Milan, Myla and Marek. Dear sister of Rose (Ed) Child, Eugene (Bette) Muratori and Tony (Helen) Muratori. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Frances graduated in 1961 from St. Joseph's School of Nursing (Toronto). She was a Pediatric Nurse at Hotel Dieu and Head Nurse at General Motors, prior to becoming a full-time mother.   

Sincere thanks to the staff at NHS-St. Catharines (ICU), Hotel Dieu Shaver and the Loyalist for their care and compassion. 

Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, September 11 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, September 12 from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service for Frances will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
