So sorry to read that Stephen has passed away. He was a dear neighbour and friend on Parkway in the '60's. The only person who ever gave me free foot massages! In '67 he was supposed to meet up with me at Expo '67, after travelling all the way there on the back of another friend's little Honda motorcycle. He never showed up, which was probably a wise move. Though I have lived in The Netherlands since 1974, Steve came to my wedding in '76 and I attended his wedding to Betty Ann in '75. In 2003 I was surprised when he and his Dad came to the funeral home to pay their respects when my father died. I have many fond memories of you dear Steve.

My heartfelt condolences to the Culp family. Not many people know, but Stephen was my Godfather. I have a lot of memories of him teaching with my dad at St. Joseph’s school.
I remember Stephen being a kind hearted person with his love of animals.
Rest In Peace,
Your Godson

Heartfelt condolences to Shephen's family and friends. As a former colleague, it has been my pleasure to work along side Steve. He was a great educator in the classroom, enthaustic, full of energy, and a great story teller. If phones existed when Steve taught, they wouldn't have held a chandle to Steve's engagement with teaching children. My pleasure also to have known Betty Anne. My words of comfort go out to you, your son, grandchildren and extended family.

Often mentioned, my grade 6 home room teacher at St Joseph school left his positive affect on us with his great enthusiasm, his keen interest in encouraging us to excel in our education and his endless energy! My dad thoroughly loved his job at the school because of Mr Culp and his colleagues. Later in life, I was fortunate to have several great chats with him at the jewellery store. My deepest sympathy and prayers to Mr Culp's family and friends. RIP Mr Culp
