Obituary of Craig Thomas Piper
PIPER, Craig
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the age of 68. He leaves behind his 3 daughters Dawn, Holly, Kayla, 2 grandsons Skyler and Wyatt, wife Kelly and his fur baby Bailey. He will be missed by his sisters Thelma, Beverly (Bill) and Shirley (Fred) and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Cyril and Lilian and his 2 brothers John and Bob.
Craig had many passions, one of them being the Niagara Regionnaires Drum and Bugle Corps. Craig spent a few years with the Empire Statesmen Drum Corps in Rochester, New York. He never gave up believing that the Raiders will make it to the Super Bowl. He was a very proud Canadian, from supporting the Canadian singers to making sure that his grandchildren wore the Maple leaf on their clothes.
The family would like to thank the NHS- St. Catharines Site and the Greater Niagara General Hospital for all their care and compassion.
In accordance with Craig’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 12-1:30p.m. with Words of Remembrances being held at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Center or to Pathstones Mental Health
