It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Shirley who passed away peacefully at Linhaven Nursing Home on November 25th 2019 with loving family by her side.  Beloved wife of 39 years to Conrad. Loving mother of Gerry Deline (Ace), Barbara Anderson (pre-deceased), Bruce Anderson, Ross Anderson (Marianne), Kathie Anderson, Wendy Guignard (Yvon) and her step-children Julie Auger, Claire Schryer and Martin Schryer. She will be deeply missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Shirley was a dedicated mother who found great fulfillment in raising her children. She took pride and enjoyed preparing meals, maintaining all the holidays and events that would make her family happy. Seldom the centre of attention, Shirley enjoyed watching from the sideline as friends and family enjoyed each others company. She took in the things that would be her greatest memories. Baking was one of her happy activities that every one would line up in anticipation of her sweet creations. Shirley and Conrad enjoyed many camping trips together. She may have been a tiny woman but had the strength, energy and fierce love to raise her family and to take care of her devoted Conrad. Shirley worked at Linhaven Nursing Home, she was a dietary aid there, then a seamstress until she retired. As a resident of Linhaven she enjoyed the many friends she made over the years and will be deeply missed by so many.  Shirley’s arrangements have been entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. As per Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will take place at a later date. In memory of Shirley, her family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
