Obituary of Paula Lynn Ward
WARD, Paula (nee Charlton)
Suddenly on February 22, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 49.
Beloved wife for 22 years and best friend of Tom. Devoted and much loved mother of Brandon, Jessica, Cody and Aaron. Cherished daughter of Anne Charlton, and special sister of David (Janis), Mary (Wayne) Makinson, John (Ruth), Cheryl (Paul) Healy, Mark (Sandy), Jim (Ginette), Robert, Tom (Brenda), Laurie (Jeff) Nichols, Stephen (Anna) and Karen (Carlo) Venditti. Loving sister in law of James (Chrissy). She will be sadly missed by her 43 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, and her many close friends.
Paula was predeceased by her father James (2000), mother in law Agnes (2005) and father in law John (2011).
She was a tireless volunteer with St. Catharines Minor sports and her main priority was always her family.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The Mass in Memory of Paula will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 29th at 1pm. If desired, memorial donations to a trust fund for Paula's children (Scotia Bank Trust account #555660509884) would be appreciated by the family.
