Jim “Kirk” Kirkpatrick
Passed away suddenly on January 27, 2020 in his 67th year. Devoted husband of Laura for the last 36 years. Loving father to Shawn, Tina (Jim) Sacco, and Angela Boswell. Cherished “Papa Kirk” to Lorenzo, Julia, Eric, Sofia, and Gemma. Survived by his two sisters, Mary and Joy. Special brother-in-law to Vito & Rae Catella and Brenda & Kevin Goodwin. Jim will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Reta and his in-laws Joe and Ida Catella.
Jim was a proud Canadian and lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He enjoyed a nice cup of Starbucks while watching the ships sail through the Welland Canal. Jim will be remembered for his sense of humour and for his love of life.
As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines on Saturday, February 1 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
