Obituary of Geoffrey Mitchell

MITCHELL, Geoffrey- Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at Linhaven at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Florence. Cherished father of Kim (Lance), Lynne (Bryan) and  Leanne (Paul). Loving Granddad of Geoffrey (Rahne), Krisia and Aaron. Great Granddad of Cameron, Damen, Ashleigh, Logan and Scarlett. He will be sadly missed by his many relatives in England and Scotland. Geoff was a Chief Engineer for many years across Canada. He started his career in England with the Merchant Navy. A sincere thank you to all of the staff and volunteers at Linhaven for all of their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Tuesday, February 11th from 6-8p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Linhaven would be appreciated by the family.
