To Linda, Christopher, Matthew, Family and Friends of Tom, I wish to send my heartfelt condolences and saddness, upon learning of Tom's passing. Tom taught my children at St. James School, whom they respected very much for his dedication to teaching and his professionalism.
Also, I was blessed to call Tom my friend while I was an E.A. in his classroom at St. Michael's School. He was a wonderful collegue, intelligent and knowledgable, had a great sense of humour, and always made me feel welcomed in his classroom.
Sending God's Blessings for Peace and Healing

My heartfelt condolences to all of Tom's family. The Hopkins family lived one street over and we all went to St. Denis School. I was fortunate enough to work with Tom at St. James School and have very fond memories of our banter. His sense of humour was exceptional and his knowledge of all things great and small was a marvel. My own children had Tom as their teacher. We are all saddened by his passing but have been blessed by knowing him. Marina Horner (Di Tecco)

Mr. Hopkins was my teacher at St Michael's Elementary School and I was fortunate to have him teach me for two consecutive years. Even 15 years later his influence on me still continues. I'll never forget his passion for music and the spark it lit for me. He also had a great sense of humor! Rest in peace Mr. Hopkins.

Tom was my staff member and friend at St. Michael Elementay school. I will alway remember his “Tom-isms” and cardigans. I was lucky to catch up with him last year at the museum. Tom touched the lives of many students and he touched my life as well. Rest In Peace Mr. Hopkins.

Mr. Hopkins was my elementary school teacher at St. James. He always made teaching fun, and had a great arm for throwing the football halfway down the field. Sorry for your loss.

To Linda and all of Tom’s family sincere condolences with Tom’s rather sudden passing. I got to know him just a few years ago when Tom M. introduced me while having a Timmy brew on the first Wednesday of the month, where we would exchange life’s experiences, mostly the good ones. All-be-it brief, it was a pleasure to have known Tom, may he now be at peace.
