Obituary of Isabel Manuel

ISABEL “Sadie” MANUEL

It is with great sadness, the family of Isabel Sadie Manuel wish to announce that Isabel passed away peacefully at Heidehof Home for the Aged in St. Catharines, Ontario on March 30 2020, at the age of 74. Isabel was predeceased by her loving parents, Alphaeus & Amelia Manuel, and her brother, Carl Manuel of Botwood, Newfoundland.  Isabel will be forever missed and lovingly remembered as a fun, kind and caring Aunt to Steve Manuel (Tina) of Toronto, ON, Doreen Cramm (Bob) of Grande Prairie, AB, Jocelyn Rowsell (Ron) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL., Susan Stuckless (Mark) of Paradise, NL and sister-in-law to Mamie Manuel of Botwood, NL., and a number of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  She was fondly called Izzy by those who knew and loved her and will be missed by the wonderful staff of Heidehof who cared for her so well in her final days.  

Izzy was an avid animal lover who always had cats, and would often house sit for friends to care for their dogs and cats while they were away.  She always enjoyed being outside and active, riding her bike and walking through parks.  She also loved music and enjoyed to sing.

 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.  Cremation has taken place and her family will return her remains to her beloved Newfoundland at a later date, for final resting.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to either the Alzheimer Society or The Salvation Army.
