To the Family of the Late Lois Schenck, my deepest condolences on your loss. I didn’t see the obituary until now.
My Husband and I lived next door to her parents Al and Jean Valentine until their passing. Five years ago we left Niagara-on-the-Lake and moved to St. Catharines. Unfortunately I lost my husband last November. We always enjoyed talking to all of the Valentine children when they visited Mom and Dad.
May you have many memories of her to guide you through the tough road ahead.
Again, my sincere condolences.
Claudia Grimwood

Dear Schenck Family, what a beautiful tribute to Lois and a perfect description of a most loving mother in all senses of the word. Her door was always open and there was always room for one more for any meal or gathering. We were blessed to have known Lois for so long. She will always be in our hearts. We share your sorrow. Lois was a woman who commanded your attention. From the moment you met Lois, you knew that this was a woman who was respected and loved. Through the years of my friendship with the Schenck family, I came to love her witty and sharp sense of humour. This was a woman who did not suffer fools. I hope that one day, I will be blessed with a legacy much like Lois Schenck; one where family and friends will gather together to honour tradition and what it means to be family. You will be missed and thank you for being a wonderful mother and grandmother to my dearest friends Bob and Sheila, Bill and Kathleen, their children and the rest of the Schenck family. God bless.
