Marilyn I'm so sad to hear of your mom's passing. She was always kind and welcoming to your friends. She helped you throw the first dinner party I even attended. She helped us learn how to make rolled sandwiches. She was fun and funny and really helped to guide us as insecure teenage girls. My deepest sympathies for your family's loss.

I just wanted to Express My sympathy to Dors family and friends.
I didn't know Doris outside of her time at tabor but during her stay she truly cared that she wasn't causing extra work for any one. Her sense of humour gave us many of laughs making our days more rewarding.
When I read her obit. an saw all the volunteer work she done throughout her life it gave me a better perspective of Who she was.
May your happy memories carry you till you met her again.
Mary/ housekeeper at tabor.

Doris will be greatly missed at Tabor Manor. She had a great sense of humour and loved to tease us, joke with us and laugh with us! My condolences to all of her family.

Marilyn and Doug,
I have so many fond memories of treats from the Mintern Street kitchen, helping with catered weddings at the church, Sunday School at Immanuel and watching Chappy and dad play ball with the church guys. My parents enjoyed your parents' company and travel times so much. May you find comfort in your trip down memory lane and in knowing that mom is at peace and no longer suffering with her declining health issues. She will be missed but remembered in the legacy of family ties that she left with you.
Nikki (Hosner) Brooks
