Obituary of Lou DeCampo
DeCAMPO, Lou (Louis Joseph) - Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on February 16, 2012. Beloved husband of Gwennyth DeCampo (Golob), he will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Edna Golob (Roseman), sisters Mary Mullen (DeCampo), Edith Pyle (DeCampo), son Louis DeCampo Jr., Ted Aleck, son Paul DeCampo, Rossana DeCampo (D'Orazio) and granddaughter Siena DeCampo. Well- known in Niagara for his accomplishments in business, he also served his community as a member of St. Alfred's Church Building Committee, the Holy Name Society, the American Truck Historical Society, and a co-founder of the Facer Street Gang. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday February 19 from 2-5 p.m. A celebration of Lou's life will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
