Hi, I met Lily a few years ago through a friend. She befriended my special needs son with open arms, no judgement , just openness, love and kindness, she danced with him, she sang with him and they had so much fun together...in the short time we spent together we experienced so much love and light from Lily, I am so saddened to hear this news, She seemed to be such a tender and gentle soul, she will be missed

Rita, Greg and Family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of singing with Lily! We were duet partners for so many musical performances. We became such good friends singing together at vocal lessons, competing at so many competitions with Lummen's School of Music and Kiwanis and also singing together at so many high school functions. Lily was so kind and talented and we laughed so much together. I still think of her when I sing and will continue to cherish all of the memories we made.
Lily had a voice like an angel and I know that she will now be making beautiful music as an angel.
Rest in peace, with much love,
Natalie Watson (Lakatos)

Dear Rita, Greg and family,
No doubt it’s obvious to you that nothing one can say can ease the sting you feel at this time. Know that hearts are bleeding in sorrow for you and in honour of Lily.
As a funeral director, I know that every moment is precious. Lily’s transition into a life beyond cemented special moments in time for me. I’m honoured to remember Lily as my first kiss. Young, unaffected and wide eyed in our early days at St. James. I’m grateful for that moment we shared. A small monument to life’s precious moments of which no doubt you have an infinite sum of.
I’d like very much to provide some small tokens of my appreciation of Lily’s life. When the time is right, email me at nathan@ecofuneral.ca. If Lily has been or will be put to rest somewhere, please let me know. I’d like to visit her and blow her a different kiss; farewell.
Sending love.

My sweet friend Lily.
I have wonderful memories playing at your house when we were young. We would throw treats down the hallway to Porscha, your Mom was always beyond kind and made us amazing snacks! You are one of the kindest, gentlest girls I have ever meet. Your at peace now.
Love Kelly
