Obituary of Ines Elaine Watson
In loving memory of Ines Elaine Watson (nee Moore) in her 99th year, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 5, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Tom (1995). Survived by her loving family, sons, David (Linda), Melvin (Linda) and daughter, Beverly (Bill), grandchildren, Glenn (predeceased), Bob, Dwayne, Glenn, Darla, Chris & Kelly. Also 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ines was born in Danville, Quebec, December 18, 1921 to James & Ellen Moore. In 1940, she married Fred MacKay and moved to Stanstead Quebec. In 1951, they moved to Ontario, settling in St.Catharines. Ines worked at Foster Wheeler for a number of years. Then she was employed by the school board as secretary until her retirement in 1985. In 1973, Ines married Tom Watson. They enjoyed a full life together of travel, cottaging and spending time with family. Ines had many hobbies she enjoyed, oil painting, cards, knitting, crocheting, sewing and reading. She was always ready for a car ride to look at scenery, playing games, swimming and going for walks. Years later, Ines moved into long term care at Tabor Manor, where she received wonderful care. Mom, you have left us a legacy of memories we will cherish always. You will be remembered and forever in our hearts.
