Obituary of Aldo Spione
SPIONE, Aldo
After a long, courageous battle with lung disease, Aldo passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis, the love of his life. Loving father of Francesca (Mark Vendittelli), Stefania (Angelo) Milano and Marco (Maria). Nonno to Antonio, Valentina, Zachary and Alexa. Cherished brother of Teresa (the late Augusto), the late Rosalba (the late Antonio), Gianni (Nadia), Luciano (Teresa) and Anna. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Susan (the late Albert) DelGiacco, many nieces, and nephews. Aldo held a very special place in his heart for his lifelong friends Maria (the late Stipe) Andelic and family.
Aldo was born in Rome, Italy and immigrated to Canada, where he became a self-employed Master Plumber. He will be remembered for his love of soccer, travelling, dancing, wine, and for his very unique sense of humor.
The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at NHS-St. Catharines for their compassionate care.
