Obituary of Kayla Jayde Furness

FURNESS, Kayla aka “Kale Dip”

After a long battle, Kayla is now without pain. She left us to join her beautiful baby Maddox, her brother Maximus and her Nana Rosemary, on Saturday, August 1 2020 at the young age of 26. She leaves behind her cherished fiancée Matty Morris, her parents Tammy and Graeme, her brothers Malcom, Martin, Tristin and Sam, her sisters Abby and Chrissy as well has her niece Violet. She will be deeply missed by her grandparents Mike and Carole Furness and John Catterall (the late Annette), her Aunts Lianne and Stephanie, Uncle Pascal, cousin Jordan and all her amazing friends. Kayla was loved by so many friends. She had an amazing sense of humour and was very intelligent. She would stand up for anyone and for what she believed in, she would always speak her mind. She fought a long and hard battle but never gave up and made sure everyone around her was laughing. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
