I remember meeting Nino and the Pengue family when I was teenager. I, along with some of my sister's were among the many who were hired by Chef Nino at Holiday Inn. What a time. I remember being fascinated by Nino and his beautiful English wife Cathy. He was not like any Italian I had ever known. Such a worldly person, full of life and interesting stories. Even to the end, his ponytail made him stand out in a crowd. Our heartfelt condolences to Cornelia, Mirella, Remo and all of Nino's grandchildren and great grandchildren. Love, your Costantini family.

I was introduced to Nino in the fall of 2010, when I was renovating Remo and Mirellas basement. They are best friends of my now wife’s family, and hired me to complete the Reno. He would come over every day to come check up on the progress...and me. After many days I found out he knew my family and some of our close friends. Everyday I looked forward to seeing him to share a joke and laugh with him and show him the progression. The following two summers I did a major excavation renovation In their back yard to useful living space. He was amazed at what I was doing. Asking questions, watching, And sharing a glass of wine or a beer at the end of the day. Those are the memories I will keep forever. He was a great character and proud father. Rest peacefully, Until we meet again Nino

Such a wonderful man who enjoyed life and family. He was a great friend, I had the pleasure of working my first job for him at Holiday Inn In the 80’s. He always took care of his staff. My father loved him and considered him a close friend. All the great memories of time spent together at his house. The laughs and especially the food. Rest easy my friend !! And one last time my friend, “May I start please?” Alex and Shelly Tacinelli.

I will always remember racing home to my dads house from work when ever italy was playing soccer. Nino and Filomeno (and my mom) would be there in the living room with drinks in hand waiting for the game to start. When the Italian national anthem would begin they would stand and I could see their eyes well with pride ... and tears. Then the cheering or cursing :) ;) :) would begin depending on how the game progressed. Wouldn’t it be great to experience those feelings one more time. My condolences ❤️❤️❤️
