Al Jones posted a condolence

St. Catharines Fire Services has been privileged through the years by having many talented trades people in its ranks. Al Lobsinger was one of the best. It was always a privilege to work on a project when Al was involved. His expertise and knowledge were appreciated as well as his honest opinions (he would let you know if you were going off track). His little drop-in driveway visits to show off his own projects were always a highlight for Pat and myself. So sorry to hear of his passing. Al will be missed by many.

Kathy,Mark and Sherry, Al was a great man. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. I have many memories of working with him at the fire hall and many laughs. We were at a great deal of fires together over the years. He will be remembered. Please accept my deepest condolences. Gord Merrill

My father-in-law. He loved his suspenders, hated squash, and loved it when I passed him the squash instead of the potatoes at family dinners. He was not an emotion-filled man, but you could always tell how much he loved his wife, his children and his dog. I will miss your stories, your bellowing laugh and the endless wealth of knowledge you had. Love you Sir.

Many an antique vehicle travels today's Ontario roads because of his expertise . I will always be indebted to him for his help with my restorations. He was always worried that I would 'bickle it if I did it myself! He was a great friend to me who loved antique car flea markets as much as I did.
Family's condolences.
