John's memory will always be a blessing for me and may it be for you too. He was always a light that lit up a room and you couldn't be sad around him. I am happy that he came into my Aunt's life and my heart breaks for her and the rest of John's family. My condolences to you all, may you be held in the wings of angels during this difficult time.
Love Always

Rosemary and I send our sincerest condolences to Bea and the rest of Johns' family. As Chief of Department in the late 90's I had the pleasure to work and travel with John as he maintained our fleet of trucks, boats and equipment in the most dedicated way. He always had a story to tell and was proud of his family and gardens. Rest in Peace my friend.

Dave and I send along our most sincere condolences. We both agree that John was one of the most endearing souls we've had the privilege to know .Dearest Bea-cuz, I can hear his infectious giggle upon relating one of his hilarious stories. He'll be sorely missed at the Legion and will remain in the hearts of the very many people who knew him. I'm so happy to be able say that he was a friend.

Dear Bea/Cuz & Family,
My heart goes out to you. We shared some good times at your Florida home and at Branch 24. Such good memories. John could make me laugh so hard telling his stories with his wonderful sense of humour. There was never a dull moment with John around. Bea, you and John shared a Love that was so evident just looking at you both together.
I shall always consider it an honour to have called John a Friend.
RIP My Dear FRIEND <3

My condolences to Bea and Family. Always enjoyed talking with John as he always had a good story to tell. When we had breakfast at the Firehall he always requested his eggs a different way but I never minded making them for him.
Also enjoyed a few drinks in Florida with him in Madeira Beach. Rest in Peace John. Jeff Hassim

My condolence to John’s family. I had the privilege to be in Johns company for many years at the Fire Dept. Many a humorous conversation I had with John in the mechanics bay while he was underneath, on top, and at times, quite literally inside a Pumper! He certainly loves his cars, guns, and dogs, but clearly his family. He always had a family photo in hand to show anyone he spoke to. He was fun, gentle and caring, and will always be remembered for his laugh and smile.
God bless
