Thinking of you George, Terri and family. Sorry that we cannot be together during this difficult time. Shirley was a wonderful lady and I treasured having her as a sister in law. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Mrs Scott held penmanship in high regard. If you passed muster you were permitted to use a cartridge pen in her history class at Canadian Martyrs. My mom had to sign a form for a Doctor before Christmas and he handed her a cartridge pen... we immediately began to reminisce about your mom.
George and Terri, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Cindy Grant and Don Schenk: I am going to miss my phone calls and visits with my aunt Shirley. She had a great sense of humour and kind heart. She was always interested in how our family was doing and I loved to hear stories about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I am so glad she is at peace with her pain. Enjoy your reunion with George.

Our memories as a family of Shirley Scott are all very pleasant. These almost all happened at Terri and George's house when celebrations took place. She had a beautiful smile and always had a kind word and showed interest in the people around her.
She and George senior we're so proud of their son and their grandsons.
When we would meet them out and about and they would always stop and take the time to get caught up. They truly were family to us.
Eternal rest Grant unto Shirley O Lord and let Perpetual light shine upon her!

We simply wanted to pass our condolences to George and his family on the passing of Mrs Scott. She was such a great lady. Growing up our parents were great friends with the Scott’s They travelled to sporting events together and often vacationed in Florida. She was always so kind and decent to us as kids. These are difficult times and we cannot say good-bye in traditional ways. However we wanted to tell you how much we admired Mrs Scott and that we are truly sorry for your loss.

I am saddened to learn of Shirley's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her for several years at Canadian Martyrs. She was one of that group of special teachers who I like to think of as the class act of education. My sincere condolences! Brian Carty
