Obituary of Jeannine Reynolds

Jeannine Gaetanne Marie Bush-Reynolds (nee St. Louis) 

September 30, 1933 – January 15, 2021 

Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines’ Extendicare on Friday, January 15, 2021in her 88^th year. Jeannine was the loving mother of seven children:  Deborah, Daniel, Gary (Connie), Robin (Deceased), Peter (Cheryl), Kelly, and Kevin.  She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Charlene, Kelly, Elyse, Sara, Kailyn, and Kyler, and her great-grandchildren Tristan, Aurora, and Finn. Our mother was the second youngest of eight sisters, all of whom she loved dearly:  Jacqueline (Deceased), Gertrude (Deceased), Etoila, Helene (Deceased), Madelaine, Georgette (Deceased) and Yollande (Deceased). She was the daughter of the late Louis St. Louis and Corine Des Groseilliers of Sudbury, Ontario. 

We are indebted to the angels that watched over our mother:  Linda Lateigne of La Residence and Joyce, Eleanor, and Ravi, her nurses at Extendicare.  We owe a special thanks to Ravi who spent time with mom the day before she passed.  She told Ravi that her life’s proudest and greatest achievements were her seven children. 

On her night table we found her hand-written note that said: 

“Tell me, I may forget.  Show me, I may remember.  Involve me, and I will understand.” 

Jeannine will be cremated and interred with her son Robin at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines where a Catholic Ceremony will take place at a later date when Covid restrictions are lifted.
