Obituary of Irene Feliksiak

Irene Feliksiak August 31 1934 - January 26 2021 

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Irene Feliksiak (Lesniak)  with her loving daughter Jenna Heerema by her side on January 26 2021 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 87 year. Irene was known and loved as Nana to Joel and A.J. She will be missed by her sister Steffanie (John) and all who knew her. She loved doing Tai- Chi and yoga. Known as a free spirit, she traveled all over the world in her earlier years. She was an Corporate Management accountant for many different companies. She was very proud to hold this title. The family would like to thank the staff at both Niagara Long Term Care and at Greater Niagara General for the kindness and compassion given to Irene in her final days. In keeping with Irene's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, please donate food to any organization that will help feed the less fortunate in memory of Irene.
