I had the honor to of met Audrey just before her passing. She was a gentle soul and very lovely lady. I enjoyed our time together listening to stories of music, laughter and children. She really touched my heart. I will never hear the song " you are my sunshine" the same again.
I hope you have found your peace.

Audrey was a lady whose faith and love for her Lord shone through her smile. I met her at West Highland Baptist church in Hamilton where she came to our Coffee Hour and so willingly took part whenever she could. Her difficult health issues did not distract from her reaching out to others. I was privileged to give her rides when she could no longer drive and will remember her with fondness.

Audrey was my grade three teacher at Linden Park, friend, and someone whose love changed my life. I can’t imagine how my life would have turned out without her kindness when I was a child and her friendship as an adult. She was a wonderful teacher and her experiences in Africa amazed me and expanded my sense of possibility. Her friendship as an adult taught me what real friendship looks like. I loved hearing her play the piano and hearing stories about her time volunteering to play the piano at the cancer clinic. Emailing and visiting over the years, my admiration and our friendship deepened. She handled her early health challenges with such grace. My prayers are with her family, with deep appreciation for their care as her health challenges increased, and with the hope that they know the shining brightness and sparkle of kindness that Audrey brought to so many of us.
