Obituary of Julia Helen Tarnowski

TARNOWSKI, Julia Helen (nee Kumor) Peacefully passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Joseph (2011) and by her son Ronald Kowalczyk (1986). Beloved mom of Jerry (Debbie) and Chris. Loving grandmother to Ronnie Kowalczyk. Julia will be remembered by her dear sister of Ursula (Bob) Banka and their family. She is survived by her mother-in-law Antonia Tarnowski. Julia is also survived by extended family. Julia was compassionate about nature and she enjoyed wild mushroom picking and fishing. She will be greatly missed by her family. A special thank you to all the staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital for their care. Julia's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 6 - 8 p.m. A celebration of Julia's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
