Obituary of John Cassidy

JOHN CASSIDY

Passed at home Sunday March 14, 2021 at 84 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marie. Husband of Della for 62 years, father of Michael (Barbara), grandpa to Jacqueline and Veronica and brother to Michael F. (Patricia) Cassidy and Carolyn (Tony) Zanni.  John was loved dearly by his extensive family and many friends. 

Retired from Niagara College in 1995, John was proud to work with many students and colleagues during his tenure. John was active for many years in the drum corps community and remained a fan in his later years. 

At this time, the family has opted to postpone the services due to safety concerns with Covid-19 to a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Geroge Darte Funeral Home.
