ZILIC, Zoran
57, of Beamsville, Ontario, passed away peacefully in his home with his wife and children by his side on Wednesday March 17, 2021 after a 5-year battle with glioblastoma. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorna for over 30 years. Loving father of Samantha (Jean Poliquin), Vanessa (Dakota Radford) and Anthony (Wendy Pope). Proud grandfather of Michael, Mackenzie, Isiah, Chloe and Caleb. Great-grandfather of Greyson. Cherished son of Ivicia “John” and Ana Zilic. Dear brother-in-law of Victor and Louise Valcoff. He is also survived by many extended family members and an incredible bunch of friends.
He liked going on trips with his family especially to Disney, spending time with his friends, making and listening to music, ice cream (all kinds) and watching a good hockey game. Zoran will be fondly remembered as a loving father, husband, son, grandfather, and friend to all. He will be sadly missed.
A special thank you to our wonderful friends, the LHIN (Shannon), and the physicians and staff at the Juravinski Hospital for their loving care and support. In accordance with Zoran’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, (905) 937-4444. Memorial donations may be made to the Juravinski Hospital or a charity of your choice.
