My condolences to the family. Pat and Frank used to visit us regularly at Murphys in Port Dalhousie. Pat was asuch beautiful soul and I always enjoyed our chats. May she rest in peace.

The news of Pat's passing has not been easy to take. Many years ago a rowdy group of St. Catharines guys met Pat and Ralph through Greg who moved to St. Catharines to row and attend university. Not long after that close friendships were formed with the whole family that last to this day. Most of us were also students at the time and it was a good thing that Pat managed a bank in Toronto as she bailed many of us out on more than one occasion. She had a huge heart and was a great lady. Pat had a fabulous sense of humor and loved to laugh at our corny jokes and hijinks stories. In short, like Ralph, Pat was a much loved favorite and it was always good to see her over the years as we all got on with our lives. Pat's passing is truly the end of an era but I am glad that my friendship with the Jaques family will carry on through her children and grandchildren. Fond memories, she will be missed. Although I only had the pleasure to meet Pat a few times in my youth, I would gather, knowing you 3, mostly Greg through our rowing days, that your mum must have been very smart, hard working, outgoing, and to top it off very fun !...with a just a ‘hint’ of mischievousness!
