Obituary of David Landolt
LANDOLT, David (John)
Passed away peacefully at the age of 58, at Hospice Niagara on June 22, 2021 after a long, valiant battle with colon cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. As a practicing Catholic for many years, he grew in faith alongside his wife. A graduate of Brebeuf College School, he established Landolt Plumbing, later worked at Aqua-tech and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Often known as “Mr. Baseball,” David loved sports, all sports especially baseball, hockey and football. He will be remembered as a fun loving and loyal friend, and was loved greatly in return.
David is survived by his best friend, and wife of 25 years, Leslie (nee McIntee); the pride and joy of his life, son Quinn and his daughter Grace. Also survived by his sister, Elayne Whitfield and nephews Taylor, Cameron and Braedan; and brother Paul and nephew Hayden and nieces Brooke and Kerrington. He is preceded in death by his mother, Loraine Quinn; and is survived by his father, Peter Landolt.
