Obituary of Mary Bruin

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the age of 79. Mary is survived by her children Martin (Rhea) and Mary-Ann (Ron) Van Dam, and grandchildren. Loving sister of Ann de Montbrun. Also remembered by her niece and two nephews. 

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors in the Progressive Care Unit at NHS-St. Catharines for their care and compassion. Also, thank you for Fr. Andy Goodwin for your support. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. A funeral mass for Mary will be celebrated at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, 230 Lake St, St. Catharines on Monday, July 5 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As per the family's wishes, please do not send flowers. Instead, as an expression of sympathy please say a prayer for Mary. Or, if desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. 

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations –  funeral attendance is limited to 70 guests. All guests attending the funeral must wear a mask and must call the funeral home to notify the staff of your attendance, (905) 937-4444.
